How can works of art influence or even condition each other in their creation? What possibilities and potentials does a transfer space offer for the unfolding of collective artistic processes? This practice becomes visible to the viewer in Feeling the Heterotopia by Nina Lapislazuli Behnisch and Lotte Frahm. The exchange took place according to the principle of mail art, in which letters, objects, concepts, (art) works were sent back and forth by post. In the digital space, these fragments look similar: a group of keywords on the topic, a text excerpt that refers to it, an image excerpt of a digital drawing, or a feeling that is transmitted...
The artwork was created for Issue #3 of Frame-less Magazine. It consists of a combination of graphics by the artist Nina Behnisch and texts by the author Lotte Frahm. The complete work is available here.
